You will work under the direction of the Chef to work together as a Catering Team to ensure that delicious home cooked meals are prepared and services to the Residents.
Responsibilities
* Assist Chef with food preparation.
* Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents.
* Load and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher.
* Clean kitchen and equipment.
* Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors.
* Clear tea trolleys where applicable.
* Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuse.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
* Ensure that the nutritional needs of residents are met.
* Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations.
* Attend to reasonable requests as instructed by Senior Chef/Chef.
* Work within the Catering Team to support residents with meals.

Salary & Working Hours
Salary: £12.60 per hour. Working hours: Part‑time – 30 hours a week. Shift times to be discussed during the interview. Weekend on and off.
