Job Description:
We're seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time team member to join our restaurant. As a team member, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting with various tasks to maintain the smooth operation of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and a friendly demeanour.
* Provide recommendations and answer customer inquiries about our menu offerings.
* Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Prepare and serve a variety of desserts, brunch dishes, and beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
* Mix and pour beverages as necessary.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, workstations, and kitchen.
* Uphold all company policies and cleaning practices to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen.
* Clear glassware, silverware, and crockery from tables once guests have completed their meals or upon request.
* Follow and uphold compliance requirements related to Food Safety, Health & Safety, Personal Hygiene, and other regulations.
* Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
* Perform additional duties as needed to facilitate the restaurant's operations.
Requirements:
* Must be available to work between the hours of 6pm and 1am 5 days a week and must be able to get to the shop reliably.
* Prior experience in a customer service or food service role preferred.
* Passion for brunch, desserts, and beverages, with a willingness to learn about our menu offerings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
* Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
