Driver Hire Edinburgh West is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to support a wide range of clients across West Lothian. This opportunity is ideal for drivers seeking flexible, non-permanent work, with the ability to choose shifts that fit around their schedule.

👌 Driver Requirements
4. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
5. CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
6. Minimum of 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience (essential)
7. No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements)
8. Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport legislation
9. Good communication and customer service skills
10. A reliable, professional and adaptable approach to work
🚚 Typical Duties May Include
11. Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
(e.g. steel, office furniture, food & drink, construction materials)
12. A–B vehicle movements
13. General haulage and pallet network work
14. Loading and unloading when required
15. Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining safety standards
