About the role
This is a very exciting time to join us following the recent creation of Optoma Holding based in the UK to bring together our global regions, as we improve our infrastructure, systems and processes. With such exciting change, and with Optoma Europe playing a pivotal role in the transformation, we are seeking a skilled Technical IT Project Manager with experience managing IT infrastructure and systems integration projects. This role requires hands-on experience with NetSuite, Jira, and Boomi, and a strong understanding of business systems, process automation, and cross-functional coordination.
As part of the IT team, you will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects—ensuring alignment with business goals and driving efficiencies across core systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage IT infrastructure and systems integration projects from initiation to completion.
* Coordinate with internal teams across IT, finance, operations, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
* Oversee implementation, optimisation, and support of NetSuite ERP, including workflows, customisations, and reporting tools.
* Manage Boomi integration processes, monitor performance, and resolve data flow issues between platforms.
* Utilise Jira for sprint planning, issue tracking, and project transparency.
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, status reports, and risk assessments.
* Assess technical feasibility, define infrastructure and integration requirements, and support system testing and deployment.
* Continuously evaluate and improve project delivery processes and system workflows.
About You
Key Skills & Experience:
Experience
* Substantial project management experience in a technical IT environment.
* Proven track record with NetSuite ERP implementations or customisation projects.
* Hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere platform for data integrations.
* Strong working knowledge of Jira for Agile or hybrid project management.
Skills
* Solid understanding of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and data integration practices.
* Proficiency with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
* Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree (or eqivalent) in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
* Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are advantageous.
* NetSuite and Boomi certifications are a plus.
Desirable:
* Experience managing ERP, CRM, or business systems projects.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical project issues independently.
* A detail-oriented mindset with strong organisational and analytical capabilities.
* Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to change.
