Abbey Veterinary Clinic, Arbroath
Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £7,500 and welcome bonus up to £5,000.
Here at Abbey Vet Clinic, we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team.
We have varied surgical and medical caseloads and you will have clinical freedom to follow your own cases with daily opportunities for operating. We operate and consult in both sites every day so there is a varied caseload throughout the day.

We are open to candidates looking for full time or part time opportunities. Full time hours would be working 40 hours per week over 4.5 days plus your share of the Saturdays. We would also be open to part time working 2 or 3 days a week. Saturday mornings are on rota, working 2:4 from 9-12:30 and we have no OOH.
About Abbey Veterinary Clinic
Abbey Veterinary Clinic is a well-established practice with branches in the market town of Forfar and the historic seaside town of Arbroath, both within easy reach of mountains, beaches and the bright lights of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Dundee.
Both clinics are equipped with iM3 dental machines, digital radiology and Idexx biochemistry and haematology equipment, as well as fully equipped operating theatres.
Meet the team!
Currently we have two Clinical Directors, an experienced Vet and a 2nd year graduate and we're looking to expand our team. The practice has 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses who now run their own clinics, doing nail clips, post-op discharges and examinations, blood pressure monitoring and blood sampling. We also have 3 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 FTE Receptionists, an Animal Care Assistant and Practice Manager.
We undertake a large amount of work for our local Cats Protection branch and have now started a dedicated cat clinic.
