Advanced Clinician Team Leader — Full Time — Up To £61,156, Depending On Experience — Wolverhampton MSK Community Service
About
Cora Health (formerly Connect Health and Healthshare) combines decades of experience in providing healthcare services on behalf of the NHS. We are growing our team of talented clinicians and are looking for an Advanced Practice MSK Team Lead (Physiotherapist, Osteopath, Sports Therapist) who is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care as part of a large multidisciplinary team in Wolverhampton.
Our Musculoskeletal (MSK) service is a Tier 1 & 2 Physiotherapy/CATS service offering assessment, advice, education, and management of MSK conditions in clinic and gym environments. Appointments are delivered via telephone, video, face-to-face clinics and group/gym consultations to promote self-management. The CATS service offers injection therapy and imaging referrals as clinically indicated and onward referrals to secondary care as appropriate. We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care efficiently and cost-effectively with reinvestment to sustain services.
We are looking for a well-organised Advanced MSK Team Lead to deliver quality clinical care for patients with MSK conditions. You will conduct comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programs, and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge.
Join our motivated, ambitious, fast-growing team. We focus on competency, developing talent and offer great flexibility. You must be registered with the HCPC or equivalent regulator (as your professional background dictates) and be qualified to practice within MSK. We welcome applications from Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports Therapists and Rehab Therapists who are able to manage a varied caseload of MSK patients, are committed to CPD, and want to help develop the service.
Who we are looking for
* Previous experience in delivering musculoskeletal services with tangible results and a commitment to providing excellent, personalised care.
* A deep understanding of the impact of Musculoskeletal pain in the wider community and how collaborative working across the local system enables prevention and addresses health inequalities.
* Current valid registration with your relevant professional body or equivalent regulator (HCPC, GOsC, SST or BASraT).
* Outstanding values that underpin clinical expertise and people management.
* Proven track record of influencing patients, people, commissioners, and pathways.
* Ability to understand, influence and drive quality audits and the integration of evidence-based practice (EBP).
* Educational acuity in developing and providing specialist teaching in Musculoskeletal practice.
* Strong desire and drive to deliver innovation and lead on change.
* Experience of developing team members.
