Forklift and Refuse Operatives

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Forklift and Refuse Operatives to join a recycling team in Exeter. This is a hands-on outdoor role working in all weather conditions, sorting recyclable materials, and assisting with general site and yard duties.
Key Duties:
* Collecting already sorted recycle refuse using forklift
* Loading refuse in to sifting and compacting machine using forklift
* Keeping domestic and commercial collection points clean and tidy.
* Assisting in maintaining a tidy local depot at all times.
Requirements:
* Forklift Counterbalance/B1 in date Licence Certificate
* Experience as a recycling operative or in a similar manual role
* Experience of working outdoors
* Physically capable of manual duties and heavy lifting
* Strong Team Work Ethic
* Reliable and able to work flexibly as required.
