What we’re looking for in the Senior Project Manager: * Substantial experience managing large retail fit-out and refurbishment contracts (multi-site roll-outs an advantage). * Project Manager with strong track record of delivery: on time, within budget, excellent quality. * Prince2 qualification desirable. * High competence in cost control, value engineering, risk management. * Strong leadership: able to manage site teams, subcontractors, supply chain. * Excellent communication skills: client liaison, internal teams, reporting. Key responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager in commercial fit-out & refurbishment: * Oversee the full project life cycle: from survey / brief through manufacturing, installation / shopfitting, to handover. * Manage overall project budget, forecasting, cost control and value engineering. * Develop, maintain and drive project programmes to meet deadlines across multiple sites. * Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and in-house manufacturing (joinery / metalwork / spray / finishing). * Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality assurance, environmental standards. * Act as main point of contact with clients: build relationships, manage expectations, negotiate changes. * Monitor and manage procurement, supply chain logistics, materials lead times. * Troubleshoot issues: resolve delays, contract disputes, site challenges. * Produce regular project reports & updates for senior management and clients. * Maintain close collaboration between design, production, site, and client teams to ensure coherence. * Ensure installations (POS, shopfitting, interiors) meet design specifications and quality standards. * Drive continuous improvement: cost savings, process efficiencies, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction.
