Job Title: Radio Frequency Engineer
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight
We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a RF Engineer. The role will be based in Cowes on the Isle of Wight and requires the post holder to be on site 3 -4 days per week. Part time and accruing hours are available as well as flexible working hours.

The Naval Radar team provides Radar products and support services to a diverse range of customers worldwide. This role will provide engineering support as part of a team delivering capability upgrades to the Royal Navy over the next 10 years. You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, with the potential to lead into more senior positions within a global business.

The site in Cowes is an easily accessible commute from Southampton with a regular foot passenger ferry and a company shuttle service from the ferry terminal to site.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support RF circuit design including component selection, simulation, schematic capture and preparing guidance for PCB design teams
* Support electromagnetic simulation and analysis
* Contribute to design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques
* Contribute to design documentation and technical reports
* Support design evaluation and testing in our new engineering lab

About You:
* A degree, HNC, or HND in Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject/industrial experience.
* An appetite for learning business approaches and procedures including standards for governance and compliance
You must be eligible to apply for SC clearance and, therefore, must hold a British passport and have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years
