GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to support Primary-aged pupils at a specialist Provision in Gateshead. The successful candidate will work with identified students on a 1:1 basis and within classes to enhance their behavior and outcomes. Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable.

1. Challenging SEN Provisions
2. Youth, Community, or Social Services
3. Residential Support
4. Ex-Military, Police, Prison, or Security Services
5. Mental Health Support Services (including Crisis or Suicide Prevention)
6. Sports Coaching or relevant voluntary roles
Candidates with a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification are encouraged to apply.

Person Specification:
* Experience supporting children aged 3-16
* Excellent rapport-building skills
* Good academic ability
* Calm, kind, positive, and proactive
* Organized and able to follow instructions
* Ability to support pupils in small intervention groups or 1:1 academic sessions
* Enhanced DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply
* Checkable work history
