Salary & Package: £60,000 - £70,000 + package (will pay more for exceptional candidates)
Estimator Opportunity
A well-established and rapidly expanding groundworks and construction contractor based in Bedfordshire, delivering high-quality earthworks, foundations, drainage, infrastructure and hard landscaping for commercial and residential clients across the region. The business has a strong local reputation and a growing project portfolio with long-standing client relationships. Due to continued growth and an increasing pipeline of work, the business is now seeking an Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team, offering an excellent opportunity to play a key part in securing new work and supporting the company's continued expansion.
As an Estimator, you will take responsibility for:
1. Preparing accurate and competitive tenders for groundworks and construction projects.
2. Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to assess project requirements.
3. Carrying out detailed take-offs and producing cost estimates and pricing schedules.
4. Obtaining and evaluating quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
