Elekta is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to support its Process & Tools Team. This role focuses on working with hardware and software teams to enhance delivery methods, develop tracking and analysis tools, and promote agile and lean practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
* Agile Tooling and Ways of Working
Champion, teach, and coach teams in agile practices, ensuring consistent tooling use across teams while respecting contextual differences.
Deliver training, support materials and workshops to promote relevant agile and lean practices and tool adoption.
Design and support agile dashboards and metrics to provide real‑time insights into flow, forecasting and quality performance, helping teams improve delivery predictability and quality.
* Continuous Improvement
Facilitate kaizen events, value stream mapping, root‑cause analysis, and other workshops.
Support metrics to monitor team performance, quality and delivery health.
Provide guidance on feedback loops and retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous learning at team and stream level.
* Digitalization Leadership
Champion new tooling initiatives across Product and Technology in alignment with R&D management.
Work with functional and delivery leadership to translate operational needs into clear tooling and workflow improvement proposals.
Identify digitalisation opportunities, including AI tool automation, to enhance value delivery and improve agile/lean practices.
Represent R&D in relevant forums related to tooling configuration, delivery process harmonization, and digital workflows.
Qualifications
* Degree in Digital Technologies, IT, or a related discipline, or proven ability to work within these areas with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in agile work environments.
* Demonstrable experience teaching and coaching teams and streams in agile/lean approaches and culture.
* Proven track record of driving and supporting tooling initiatives in an agile/lean environment.
* Hands‑on knowledge of tools such as Jira (configuration and workflow optimisation).
* Certifications in agile and lean methodologies (e.g., SAFe, ScrumMaster) preferred.
* Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes, effectively drive collaboration, influence decisions, and manage conflicts throughout change initiatives.
* Availability for international travel (~25%) to support global teams and initiatives as needed.
