The Freight & Logistics Head Hunter | Senior Recruitment Consultant | Operations & Sales
Role: Multimodal Forwarder - Ocean and Road (Air Freight is bonus)
Location: Birmingham
Shift: Mon - Fri (Hybrid - One Day Work from Home)
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for Start to Finish Multimodal Import and Export Operations
* Quoting and pricing shipments, maximising profit on jobs.
* Liaise with shippers, hauliers, and carriers
* Managing key accounts, ensuring all queries are dealt with correctly
* Arranging timely and accurate documentation for shipments
* Create and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring all inquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
* 22 days holiday, rising to 25 days after 1 year of service
* Annual salary review

Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working with a leading freight forwarder.
* Comprehensive understanding of the transport process from start to finish.
* Ability to collaborate with customers to provide the best possible service.
