£22-26,000 depending on experienceDo you have experience in Payroll within Practice or industry?? If you are looking for your next payroll position, then look no further; this role with a leading accountancy firm (with a very well established Payroll team; you will be working with some very experienced people) will help you to expand your skills within a warm and welcoming setting and might give you an opportunity to embark upon the CIPP qualification if you wish!
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to your payroll clients; preparing accurate payroll records to ensure that all payments are processed in a timely manner. You will be using designated payroll software (experience with sage would be ideal), ensuring full compliance with HMRC legislation, processing BACS payments and dealing with client queries. This is a commercial payroll department, so you will be targeted on delivering value for money to the customer while acting as an ambassador for the firm....... and expanding the business wherever possible.Salary will depend on level of experience; I am looking for someone who has taken payroll from time sheet to payslip, in a volume-driven role.
