Job Description Architectural Estimator – Aluminium Windows, Doors & Curtain Walling Location: Walsall, West Midlands (Near Birmingham) Full-Time | Permanent | Office-Based Architectural Estimator – Aluminium & Façade Projects We are recruiting an experienced Architectural Estimator to lead and develop the estimating function for a growing aluminium fabrication business based in Walsall, West Midlands. This role focuses on pricing and delivering large-scale aluminium windows, aluminium doors, curtain walling and shopfront systems across commercial and façade projects. Architectural Estimator – Key Responsibilities Estimating & Commercial Prepare competitive quotations for aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and shopfront systems Analyse architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents Undertake value engineering and specification optimisation Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors (glass, hardware, aluminium systems) Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations Technical & Manufacturing Coordination Use Logikal estimating software and similar technical systems Interpret technical drawings accurately Liaise with factory and production teams to ensure accurate cost calculations Support projects from tender stage through to manufacture Client & Project Coordination Liaise with architects, contractors, local authorities and clients Manage multiple tenders simultaneously Maintain organised documentation and estimating records Skills & Experience Proven experience as an Architectural Estimator / Aluminium Estimator / Façade Estimator Strong background in aluminium fabrication or fenestration estimating Proficient using Logikal or similar estimating software Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Experience pricing curtain walling and shopfront systems Desirable: CAD knowledge Experience within aluminium or uPVC window manufacturing Background in façade or building envelope projects Why Apply?
