Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer – South East / Surrey / Hampshire / Berkshire
Alarm Communications Limited are a leading team of fire protection, commercial security and building management systems specialists, with our Head Office located in Surrey. Our client base is predominantly built of prestigious buildings and landmarks, such as high-end hotels, stadia and education establishments in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new Fire & Security Engineer, specifically covering the South East London Area.
Base Pay Range
£30,000.00–£35,000.00
Responsibilities
* Work with our established team in the area and look after a selection of key accounts.
* Complete maintenance, reactive works, small works and projects on large‑scale networked fire alarm systems.
* Identify system improvements, recommend remedial and upgrade opportunities, and contribute to continuous service enhancement.
* Participate in regular review meetings with the Contract Manager and build strong, collaborative relationships with end users.
* Mentor and support apprentices and junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 2 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Maintenance Engineer.
* Experience with maintaining multi‑panel networked fire alarm systems.
* Customer‑oriented, with the ability to adapt and respond to clients in different situations.
* Good attention to detail and a person who can prioritise and manage their time effectively.
* Passion to continue to learn and develop themselves and their skills.
* Desire to install and maintain systems to the highest standards.
