Project Support Officer
An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Adults Commissioning Team.
Job Role is 37 Hours per week between the hours of 08.30 and 18.00.
About you:
You will have the ability to support the development of a wide range of large-scale transformational projects, supporting both Project Manager and Programme Lead.
This will include the ability to:
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with complex needs providers and to become familiar with services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other teams across adult social care including the wider commissioning team, operations, brokerage and housing teams and health partners.
- Understand the provider market and ability to maintain appropriate records of services and update systems appropriately.
- Plan and organise market engagement events with appropriate providers and wider stakeholders including people who access services and their carers.
- Provide statistical or other information to the Commissioning Team using systems such as Liquid Logic and CareCubed.
- Ensure that Cheshire East Council records are up to date and accurate on data management systems.
The successful candidate will have:
1. The ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
2. A high degree of interpersonal skills.
3. The ability to converse at ease with our internal and external partners
4. A flexible approach to work; The position operates on a hybrid basis, combining home working with office-based duties.
5. knowledge and experience from working across either children's or adults services, or have previously worked within either a contracting or commissioning role.
