Math’s Supply Teacher – Gravesend
Are you a maths magician who can turn algebra into adventure and fractions into fascination? We are on the hunt for dynamic, adaptable, and enthusiastic Maths Supply Teacher to join our network of outstanding educators in Gravesend.
Contract: Daily supply cover or short time
Salary: £130 - £150 per day
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and abilities
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborate with school staff to support student progress
* Mark and assess work in line with school policies (when on longer-term placements)
* Be a reliable and professional presence in the classroom
Qualifications & Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Maths
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Flexibility and a sense of humour – because sometimes, even numbers need a laugh
