About the role
Groove Pillows is a double-digit ecommerce scale-up, improving the sleep and overall wellness of hundreds of thousands of customers across the UK and US.
We're looking for a remote Product Marketing Specialist to build and optimise industry leading PDPs on a mid-term freelance contract basis.
You’ll deliver a series of on-page optimisation projects that improve flow and coherence through the funnel, turning more visitors into buyers and increasing what each customer spends.
You'll work across our D2C Shopify stores (experience of Shopify essential) suggesting and implementing the latest on-site best practice, optimising the on-site funnel, briefing design and launching a CRO program that drives conversion and AOV.
Projects & Responsibilities
We have a clear roadmap of site upgrade projects, all of which have a combination of structural, design, brand or CRO elements. You’ll be a key stakeholder in each project, with the support of technical, marketing and branding/product colleagues to deliver a coherent customer-first outcome. This includes product and category landing page upgrades, homepage strategy, cart & upsell review and contributing to a CVR friendly general design facelift.
Please note this is a purely on-site optimisation project with no expectation or involvement in marketing activity.
With this new, stronger foundational website as a springboard, we expect the contract to move from general optimisation to a Growth & CRO approach - implementing testing tools, framework and reporting, and custom landing page projects.
Your Skillset & Experience
Given the roadmap we have in mind, we’re looking for a on-page conversion specialist that has skills across multiple areas of both strategy and implementation:
* At least 2 years experience in page conversion optimisation for UK retail ecommerce brands
* At least 2 years Shopify experience
* On the pulse of 2026 ecommerce funnel best practice
* Natural eye for conversion-optimal design, translating to high-quality design briefs
* Strong analytics experience - in both platforms and approach to project delivery
* Knowledge and exposure to CRO platforms and testing frameworks
