Overview
Digital Print & Finishing Operator for a client based in Rushden. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced print production environment, covering the full lifecycle of printed materials - from file preparation and digital printing to finishing, packing, and dispatch.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and organise print files, checking for accuracy using Adobe software
* Operate digital printing equipment efficiently and perform routine maintenance
* Manage print media, stock, and production records
* Operate cutting, trimming, laminating, and finishing equipment
* Ensure quality control at every stage to meet customer and company standards
* Support vinyl application, silicon edging, and other finishing processes
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Previous experience in a similar print/finishing role
* Good Maths and English (O level / GCSE or equivalent)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of large-format print processes
* Commitment to health & safety standards
Desirable:
* Experience in the events industry
* Manual handling training
* Experience working at height
