Affinity Partnerships are looking for a female cover supervisor, with a background in sports coaching or PE, as well as being comfortable doing general cover for a school in Weston-Super-Mare. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable leading KS3 and KS4 lessons and should be enthusiastic about sports. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience as a PE teacher. This role is currently for term four, until 2 nd April, however there is potential for it to be extended for the correct candidate. The successful applicant: Qualified Teachers Status. Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education. Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills. Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum. Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum. Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour. Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
