Job Description
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and between East and West District Housing offices, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
Requirements
You will have HND/SVQ4 or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
Responsibilities
You will provide a single point of contact for accommodation requests from Police Scotland, Community Justice Services, Scottish Prison Services and other agencies that operate within the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPAs). You will secure suitable accommodation for serious and sexual offenders within the City of Dundee area. You will review current provision of appropriate models of accommodation for those unsuited to mainstream accommodation and develop strategy to address unmet needs. You will represent Neighbourhood Services at MAPPA, MARAC and MATAC multi-agency protecting people case conference meetings.
The Individual
You will have experience of collaborative and multi agency working, knowledge of Management of Offenders etc. (Scotland) Act 2005, knowledge of housing legislation and knowledge of data protection legislation.
Experience of managing a demanding workload and detailed understanding of risk assessment/ management; understanding of roles and responsibilities of responsible authority/ agencies re. accommodation of serious and sexual offenders is essential.
You will have good organisational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Office 365, Word, Excel, Teams etc.
Satisfactory Level 1 - Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required.
