Responsibilities
* Defining the comprehensive Ground System level architectural design, including leading technical trade-offs.
* Working closely with Engineering Leads and Partners to define segment and associated sub-system architectures via integrated Working Groups.
* Owning the end-to-end requirements lifecycle: capture and definition from high-level stakeholder needs down to sub-system specifications.
* Ensuring complete traceability and managing the Verification, Validation, and Test (VV&T) support activities.
* Providing expert technical inputs for major proposals and bids.
* Acting as the Solution Lead for customer and internal governance reviews, informing stakeholders on progress and problem resolution.
* Contributing to Systems Engineering and project management inputs for planning, schedule, and cost activities.
Qualifications
* A University degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a closely related discipline.
* Proven experience in the design, integration, and roll-out of end-to-end digital telecommunications systems. (Experience with Milsatcom systems is highly desirable).
* Demonstrable experience covering the space, control, and ground segments using established methodologies (Waterfall or Agile).
* Experience in defining solutions within an Architectural Framework utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and appropriate tools (Enterprise Architect is desirable).
* Experience in technical engagement with external customers and internal partners.
* A solid working understanding of the key portfolios, including satellite platforms and payloads, satellite control, mission control, and network control.
* Robust presentation and technical writing skills.
