Home First provides short-term reablement care to help people stay independent in their own homes. As a Reablement Support Worker, you'll be part of a caring, dedicated team making a real impact in your community.
No experience is required, as you will receive:
* a full induction and in-depth training
* ongoing support from your team
* the opportunity to complete a fully funded Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification.
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you'll build and maintain positive relationships with customers and their family carers, promoting health, wellbeing, and independence.
You'll support individuals through personalised care plans and short-term enablement strategies, offering guidance to help them make informed choices.
At times, you'll assist with dignified personal care needs and engage with customers and carers to explore alternative ways of meeting long-term needs.
You'll also promote services that enable safe, independent living at home, monitor progress against care plans, and maintain accurate records to support ongoing reviews.
Flexible hours and salary
Full time or flexible part time hours available from 7.5 hours - 37 hours per week, worked on an early, late shift rota including alternate weekends. Bank flexible casual hours available (paid at £15.08 per hour), evening and/or weekend working only is available on some contracts.
The salary from £25,185 per annum comes with performance‑related pay progression and potential earnings up to £28,142 per annum (pro rata for part time).

Travel requirements
While we actively encourage the use of technology to support communication and engagement, this role does require travel. You'll need to hold a full, valid driving licence and have access to your own transport or be able to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.
