Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.
We have an exciting new role for someone with experience of Property Management/the Housing Sector to join our dedicated team.
Liaising with Superior Landlords and their managing agents, you will provide support to Newlon Teams to ensure processes are put in place, so that customers receive an effective service and responsible teams are assured of compliance and invoices paid.
This will involve processing service charge, ground rent, insurance and other one-off invoices, raising queries as necessary to ensure they are received/paid on time. In addition, you will work with the Managing Agent Property Team Leader and Service Centre to assist with establishing hot water and heating reporting processes, including escalation and step in procedures.
You’ll need working knowledge of standards and statutory regulations requirements relating to property compliance, together with the ability to read and interpret leases and service level agreements.
An understanding of the aspirations of tenants and leaseholders is also essential, as well as the knowledge to assist the Fire Safety Team with setting up processes.
In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and a flexi scheme. You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project, and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
