Production Manager – Backshift

Production facilities are located in Airdrie, Boston and Westwick, and are designed to uphold our values of innovation and tradition.
Working hours: Monday‑Friday 15:00‑00:00.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the chilled production process during backshift hours to ensure quality and efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines while fostering a safe workplace.
* Develop production schedules and plans to meet operational demands while minimising waste.
* Motivate and develop production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
* Monitor and analyse production metrics, providing reports and insights to upper management.
* Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with product standards.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost‑saving initiatives.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in a production management role, preferably in the food industry.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and production best practices.
* Strong leadership qualities, with a proven ability to develop and inspire teams.
* Exceptional organisational and analytical abilities focused on production optimisation.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and management.
* Capability to analyse data to drive decision‑making and continuous improvement.
* Flexibility to work backshift hours, with potential for weekends or holidays as needed.

Salary: £80,000.00 – £85,000.00. Location: Airdrie, Scotland.
