Working 40 hours a week, you will provide support to people who may be living with learning disabilities and autism needs.
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical management of Bradley Apartments, including leadership and development of all clinical staff. You will be maximising the financial performance of Bradley Apartments, actively participating in Clinical and Operational Governance, and deputising for the Registered Manager when required.
With experience from within the care sector as a senior employee, you will assist with the strategic development of the care home, working towards Elysium’s objectives and business plans.
What you will be doing:
1. Developing proactive, positive relationships with internal and external customers to promote business development and quality care.
2. Providing leadership, management, and motivation to staff, fostering teamwork and pride in effectiveness.
3. Ensuring compliance with all company policies and legislative requirements, including financial, health and safety, clinical, and governance standards.
4. Maintaining compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
5. Contributing to the corporate development of Elysium Healthcare as a representative of Bradley Apartments.
6. Developing practices to enhance the performance of Bradley Apartments in line with company policy.
7. Setting and achieving annual objectives, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
8. Maintaining high personal and professional standards in accordance with the company’s code of conduct.
9. Engaging in budget planning and financial management.
10. Recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining high-quality staff.
11. Building and maintaining a positive reputation within the local community as a healthcare provider and employer.
12. Attaining relevant external accreditation and certifications.
13. Assisting the Registered Manager with audit reports and overseeing clinical and non-clinical services as requested.
Things that you will have:
1. Nurse educated to degree level or with relevant experience.
2. Evidence of management development, preferably within healthcare.
3. Registered Nurse RMN/RNLD/RGN with MH/LD/Autism experience.
4. At least 3 years post-qualification experience.
