Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering – Surrey
Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a newly awarded £30M civil engineering project in Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading contractor and take the lead commercial role on a major infrastructure scheme, acting as the number one Senior QS on site and reporting directly to the Commercial Lead.
The project includes demolition, bulk earthworks, deep drainage, construction of a new spine road and Section 278 highway works. The successful candidate will take the project from inception through to client handover and final account.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial management of a £30M infrastructure scheme
* Manage subcontract procurement and package management
* Prepare applications for payment and valuations
* Manage variations, compensation events and final accounts
* Monitor cost control, forecasting and reporting
* Work closely with project delivery and senior leadership
Salary & Package
* Up to £80,000 salary
