Senior Facilities Supervisor
Location: Wathwood Hospital, Wath Upon Dearne, S63 7TQ, United Kingdom.
Job Summary
Lead and supervise Facilities Services across Wathwood Hospital, including Domestic, Portering Services, Environmental Coordinators and catering responsibilities when the Catering Supervisor is absent.
Job Details
* Salary: £28,392 to £31,157 per annum.

Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise Domestic, Portering Services and Environmental Co‑ordinators.
* Oversee catering operations in the absence of the Catering Supervisor, including food receipt, storage, preparation, production and service, ensuring compliance with Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations.
* Support the delivery and development of Facilities Services across multiple sites, ensuring standards meet service, customer and Trust needs.
* Maintain a professional, skilled and knowledgeable workforce, providing training and supervision.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work, Food Safety Act 1990 and Food Safety & Hygiene (England) Regulations.
Qualifications
* Recognised cleaning or support services qualification.
* Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
* Experience supervising staff in Facilities Services.
* Experience delivering training to staff.
* Experience working in a Facilities setting.
* Knowledge of Infection Control and Health & Safety, including COSHH, risk assessments and manual handling.
* Knowledge of cleaning equipment requirements, stock control procedures and hospital cleanliness standards.
Desirable
* Vocational qualification level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
* Level 3 Health & Safety Certificate.
* Level 3 Food Safety Certificate.
* Experience in recruitment and selection of staff.
* Experience in group training.
Skills
* Good administration skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to meet accurate deadlines.
* Experience with Microsoft Office packages.
* People supervision skills.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Position requires a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. The cost of the standard DBS application (£26.40) or enhanced (£54.40) will be deducted from salary over the first two months of employment.
