We’re looking for Catering & Retail Assistants to join our friendly and dynamic team. As part of Plumpton College, One Garden Brighton is a unique destination that blends horticulture, heritage, and hospitality. Since opening in 2021, we’ve become a must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Serving customers with a smile in our shop, bakery, and café
* Preparing barista-style drinks and maintaining high food hygiene standards
* Replenishing stock and ensuring our displays look fantastic
* Supporting events and seasonal activities in the Walled Garden
* Using EPOS tills and handling cash with care
* Sharing your knowledge of our products, events, and ethos with visitors
* Working closely with the wider team to deliver a seamless guest experience
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous retail or hospitality experience (ideally in a visitor attraction)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Barista training (preferred)
* A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
* Food hygiene and first aid qualifications (desirable)
