On Target Earnings £16 - £17 per hour * Including Tronc
(£40,000 - £42,000 on average 48 hours Including TRONC)

The Old Crown, Bookham Surrey will be opening in September 2025

We are thrilled to announce our next opening in the beautiful town of Bookham in September 2025, so we have an amazing opportunity for Junior Sous Chef to join our fantastic team.

Located on the village’s High Street, The Old Crown dates back to the 1930’s and was built by Kingston brewery Hodgson’s. A landmark of the village, the pub will undergo an extensive multi-million pound refurbishment to create 150 covers in the enhanced bar and dining room and a further 50 covers in the large enclosed garden. The pub will feature Heartwood’s signature quirky welcoming style with cosy snugs, rich colour schemes and textures that reflect the history of the pub and the local area.

About You:

* Have a passion and proven track record in delivering service, great quality, fresh food and training to chefs
* Able to work multiple sections as part of the kitchen team, follow recipes and demonstrate this to other chefs
* 4-5 years experience or progression in a service setting with advanced knife skills and working with classical cooking techniques
