Who You Are You are an experienced Senior Social Worker with a background in adult mental health. You possess a comprehensive understanding of mental health practice and legislation, including the Mental Health Act of 1983, the Mental Capacity Act of 2005, and the Care Act of 2014. What the Job Involves As a Senior Social Worker in the Community Mental Health Team, you will manage a caseload of complex mental health cases, providing assessments and short-term interventions. You will offer professional and managerial supervision to team members, manage incoming referrals, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. You will work collaboratively with other professionals in the team and act as a consultation point for complex assessments. You will also take on responsibilities like safeguarding, Care Co-ordination, and participating in the AMHP rota. The role involves deputizing for the Team Manager when required and contributing to the development and management of the Service/Team.
