Are you looking for an ad-hoc Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role in Torquay? We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and proactive individual to join a supportive secondary school team. Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students
* Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Support students with additional learning needs and help them stay engaged
* Encourage positive behaviour and act as a role model
* Prepare classroom resources and learning materials when required
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and support staff
* Demonstrate professionalism in line with the school’s expectations

What We’re Looking For
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, patient, and supportive approach to working with young people
* Strong organisational skills and reliability
* Ability to work effectively within a team and follow teacher guidance
* A positive attitude and commitment to student success
* Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow teacher guidance
* A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Hold a valid UK driving licence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
