Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team in Runcorn. We are a privately owned business supporting our loyal local customer base. We carry our servicing, Mot's, repair work, clutches, wet belts water pumps etc etc. We dont do engine rebuilds We have a team of 3 technicians are pay everyone £36000. Due to expansion we are looking for an additional technician. Most improtantly we need a Team player. We have no ego's and dont need any. Come to work do the work have a laugh go home. No main dealer politics. As a Vehicle service Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. What we need Either a Experienced Level 3 technician with 2 years workshop experience Or a time served tech / mechanic with provable work history Full Uk driving Licence Own tools Duties * Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. * Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools effectively. * Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout * Work with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Skills * Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand vehicle systems within * Proficient in the use of hand tools for various automotive tasks. * Experience with power tools is essential for efficient repairs and maintenance. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
