Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Location: Glenholme Wendreth Court, March, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 depending on skills and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Glenholme Healthcare Group is proud to be opening Glenholme Wendreth Court, a brand new purpose built care home in March, Cambridgeshire.
Wendreth Court will provide high quality nursing and residential care across 54 ensuite bedrooms, supporting older people and individuals living with dementia.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the founding team of a new service and play a key role in shaping a professional and well organised home from day one.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Care Home Administrator to oversee all administrative functions within the home.
You will work closely with the Home Manager and leadership team to ensure:
* Smooth day to day operations
* Full regulatory compliance
* Accurate financial and personnel processes
* A welcoming and professional experience for residents, families, and visitors
This is a pivotal role within the service and would suit someone who is detail focused, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries, ensuring a professional and welcoming impression
* Manage resident personal monies with accurate recording and auditing
* Bank and account for all cash transactions within the home
* Liaise with Local Authorities and Health Authorities regarding contracts and invoicing
* Ensure admission documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
* Maintain debtor records and follow up outstanding payments
* Support recruitment activity including screening, interviewing, and safer recruitment checks such as references and DBS
* Maintain complete and compliant personnel files
* Ensure payroll information, holidays, sickness, and rota changes are accurately recorded
* Undertake regular personnel file audits and report to the Home Manager
* Maintain excellent record keeping in line with CQC standards and company policies
* Attend and minute management and resident meetings as required
* Support regulatory inspections and internal audits
* Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Home Manager
Knowledge and Skills
* Previous administrative experience, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
* Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
* Understanding of regulatory compliance and CQC requirements would be advantageous
* Professional, approachable, and confident communication skills
