Main Accountabilities:
1. Site planning: Plans on-site project activities related to the assigned discipline with the Site Manager or Site Construction Manager, including necessary local resources, equipment, and milestones. Coordinates agreements between the customer and external resources on installation/construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization, and policies.
2. Site coordination and monitoring: Responsible for coordinating all on-site activities related to the assigned discipline, from receiving the site area from the customer or Project Manager to handover. Ensures the successful execution of start-up, installation/construction, erection, testing, and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder relations: Acts as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and other local organizations.
4. Health, safety, environment (HSE), and project security: Ensures a detailed and up-to-date construction H&S plan is in place for each work package, compliant with company policies. Promotes health and safety considerations among project partners and is empowered to suspend activities in case of HSE violations.
5. Equipment handling: Ensures correct handling, storage, and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage and shipment logistics to ensure timely delivery.
6. Sub-contractors management: Manages on-site sub-contractors hired by ABB to meet quality and progress standards, ensuring timely delivery.
7. Site cost management: Monitors project site costs against forecasts, manages petty cash, and has delegated authority for local purchasing within limits.
8. Documentation: Maintains and updates all project documentation, ensuring the latest revisions are used on-site.
9. People leadership and development: Ensures the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and skilled. Provides guidance, motivation, and development for team members, and manages local site facilities.
Summary: Supervises a team in executing tasks within an assigned area, ensuring proper work coordination and performance reviews. Candidates should have extensive experience as a Site Supervisor, with skills in Site Management, HSE, Environment, Quality Assurance & Control, Installation Works, and basic knowledge of Commissioning and Civil Works.
