Join to apply for the School Kitchen Assistant role at Chartwells UK. This part‑time role is contracted to 25 hours per week, with a 43‑week yearly schedule. Chartwells is part of Compass Group UK&I, delivering catering and support services to the education sector.
We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation. You’ll join a team that takes pride in their food, their brand, and most of all their people. Key shift information and general notes will be shared with shortlisted applicants. This role is contracted to 43 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
* Preparing high‑quality food that delights clients and customers
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
* Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
* Assisting with loading or unloading deliveries and supply vehicles
* Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
* Complying with Food Handling and Hygiene standards
* Complying with Health and Safety regulations
