Our client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking an experienced General Operator to join their manufacturing team. The role covers production phases in plastics and circuit card assemblies, including manufacturing, self-certification, and sub-assembly work.
The successful candidate will develop certification procedures, set workmanship standards, and manage budgets and timelines to meet project goals.

Completed ESD training.

Microelectronics experience
Tentatively work across several departments, these might include: Looming: binding wire looming is a cable assembly that efficiently distributes electrical signals by linking cables together using a crimping tool. (Ex; wiring, root wiring, and fibre optics cabling),
PEC and CCA Assembly
Plastics Department (Ex; applying glues, cutting out intricate patterns, and moulding).
Manufacturing Control/ Stores (Kitting, SAP, Picking goods inwards).
Must be comfortable working under a microscope for most of the work.
What youll get to do as a General Operator (BA): Perform precise assembly and manufacturing tasks according to established procedures, quality standards, safety protocols, and deadlines.
Help streamline the flow of work and information in the manufacturing area.
Adhere in all activities to agreed standards and behaviours.
Comply with all health and safety requirements.
IPC 610 certified / trained preferred.
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by our clients Security Team.

Shift Pattern: 07:00-15:36 Monday-Thursday 07:00-11:36 Friday Training will be completed on day shifts at the beginning of assignment.
