A healthcare organization is seeking a Marketing Director to lead the B2B marketing strategy for its portfolio of consumer medical devices in the UK & Ireland. The role focuses on building partnerships, generating leads, and expanding market presence among NHS, private medical practices, retail brands, and independent providers.
These consumer health-tech devices are bespoke products, utilizing advanced technology that positions them ahead of competitors. They currently hold the market lead for NHS supply, with some competitors selling on their behalf.
The successful candidate will establish a long-term marketing vision, ensuring the marketing engine is future-facing and aligned with growth objectives. Responsibilities include evaluating current channels, introducing strategies like ABM, and improving brand positioning and marketing metrics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead B2B Marketing Strategy: Define and implement a roadmap to grow market share.
2. Lead Generation and Demand Creation: Execute campaigns for qualified leads and product reach.
3. Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Engage key customers via ABM strategies.
4. Brand Positioning and Market Penetration: Foster relationships with healthcare providers and retailers.
5. Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor a team of 9 marketing professionals.
6. Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to optimize campaigns and messaging.
7. Partnership and Relationship Management: Build relationships with stakeholders to drive brand advocacy.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in B2B marketing within healthcare, MedTech, or consumer medical devices.
* Proven success with healthcare providers, NHS, retailers, and distributors.
* Experience with products like hearing aids, diagnostic devices, mobility aids, personal health tech, etc.
* Expertise in ABM and lead generation for B2B audiences.
* Strong leadership skills managing teams of 5+ professionals.
* Digital marketing, CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and analytics proficiency.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Data-driven decision-making approach.
