Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities
· Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
· Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and drive improvement.
· Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel valued and motivated to learn.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic support for each child.
· Contribute to the wider school community, including events, enrichment activities, and clubs.
· Maintain high expectations for learning, progress, and behaviour.
Year 5 Teacher Requirements
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
· Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
· Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
· A reflective, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach to teaching.
· Commitment to promoting inclusion, creativity, and academic excellence.
