The position has been creat3ed to support continued business growth. Reporting to Group FD, this role represents an excellent opportunity to join a warm, friendly, and highly experienced finance team, where you will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive payroll service across the organisation. The Role: As Payroll Specialist, you will take full ownership of payroll processing, managing both weekly and monthly payrolls end-to-end. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across all payroll activities, supporting the wider business while working as part of a small, collaborative payroll team. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to an upcoming system implementation, gaining valuable project exposure. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls Managing all associated calculations including tax, NI, pensions, and statutory deductions Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation and internal policies Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner Supporting payroll reporting and reconciliations Assisting with payroll system implementation and related project work The Person: Current proven experience processing payroll end-to-end (weekly and monthly) Strong working knowledge of payroll systems and software High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment CIPP qualification advantageous Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach Previous exposure to payroll projects or system implementations is advantageous The Benefits: Competitive salary package Completion bonus at the end of the contract Immediate start available On-site car parking Supportive, friendly team environment Opportunity to gain system implementation experience Next Steps If you are available immediately and looking for a hands on Payroll Specialist role where you can make an impact from day one, gain systems implementation exposure and experience within a growing commercial business, we would love to hear from you.
