Overview
Senior Paediatric Pharmacy Technician - Ward Services. Full-time position in the Paediatric NHS hospital setting at Evelina London Children’s Hospital. You will contribute to the delivery of pharmaceutical care to a diverse group of Paediatric patients as part of the ward-based team, supporting our nursing, medical and pharmacy colleagues to resolve medicines management issues.
Shift Pattern: 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. 9am-5pm for rostered weekends and bank holidays. Late duty as rostered 9:30am-6:00pm. Closing date: 5 October 2025 at midnight.
Responsibilities
* Provide a safe, efficient and accurate ward-based pharmacy service for hospital inpatients by liaising closely with pharmacists, nursing and medical staff on wards.
* Work as part of the ward-based team to support the delivery of pharmaceutical care and meet directorate targets.
* Support the wider pharmacy and nursing teams to resolve medicines management issues and contribute to service development.
Qualifications and Skills
* Patient-focused technician with good interpersonal skills who are sensitive to the needs of patients and their carers.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; able to work independently and adapt to changing service demands while meeting deadlines.
* Flexibility to cover rostered shifts, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
* Experience in a Paediatric NHS hospital setting is desirable but not stated as mandatory.
