We are seeking to recruit motivated Registered Nurses for our Elective Care Centre.
The Elective Care Centre is a 9-bedded admission unit specializing in colorectal, upper GI, urology, and gynaecology admissions.
We are a forward-thinking, innovative team that relishes challenges and is responsive to the needs of our service and patients.
Training and support will be provided to help you reach the competence required to conduct assessments autonomously. There will also be opportunities to develop your clinical skills to enhance patient care.
This role requires a commitment to providing quality service within a supportive teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meet the needs of the Trust regarding induction, mandatory, and statutory training.
2. Work within the framework for Clinical Governance to provide high-quality, individualized nursing care to patients and their families, contributing to the development of nursing practice.
3. Ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
4. Work effectively as part of the nursing team and the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team.
5. Adhere to the Trust’s Competency Framework for Registered Nurses, the Ward/Department Philosophy, and the NMC Code of Conduct/Professional Standards for the Protection of Patients.
