* Healthcare assistants to join our Nursing home 59-bed care home located in Bicton Woodlands, DN16
* Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, hours: 33- 44 per week
* Salary: £12.71per hour

Responsabilities include:
* Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
* Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
* Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
* Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
* Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
* Answer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as required
* Answer the door and telephone appropriately
* Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptly
* Report on well-being of Residents
* Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc
Requirements for the role
* Right to work in the UK, no sponsorship provided
* Be located in the area, able to commute to the job
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Team player
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Previous experience of working with the relevant Service User group
