We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Plumber to join a responsive repairs team within a not-for-profit housing provider, supporting the maintenance, repair, and improvement of affordable homes across Bedfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plumber seeking long-term, stable employment within the property services sector.
Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance, including leak detection, pipework repairs, and installation of bath panels, taps, and other plumbing components.
2. Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently while working in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Using a handheld electronic device to receive job instructions, update progress, and accurately record completed or outstanding works.
4. Providing excellent customer service and acting as a professional representative of the housing provider.
5. Managing van stock levels and ordering materials in line with group specifications.
6. Maintaining accurate job records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
7. Participating in the out-of-hours (OOH) standby rota when required.
Requirements:
8. Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
9. Basic Criminal Record Check (DBS)
10. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
11. City & Guilds Water Regulations & Unvented Hot Water Systems (3345)
