Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer role located in Telford. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery. Key responsibilities include conducting diagnostics, identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring that equipment meets safety and performance standards. You will collaborate with other team members to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. This is a day shift role
Qualifications
Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering
Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance
Proficiency in Electrical Maintenance tasks
Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing environments
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is advantageous
Technical qualifications or certifications in engineering, electrical, or a related field are preferred
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
