Position Overview: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a student who requires additional support due to special educational needs or other challenges. You will provide tailored assistance to help the student overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to the assigned student in their learning and development. Assist the student with understanding instructions, completing tasks, and staying focused during lessons. Adapt teaching materials and activities to suit the student's individual needs and learning style. Monitor the student's progress and communicate regularly with teachers and parents/carers. Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student, promoting their confidence and independence. Requirements: Previous experience working with students with special educational needs or additional support needs is preferred. A patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach to supporting children's learning. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
