Job Description for Chef at HC-One
HC-One is seeking a Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and an understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.

About You
You should be organized, capable of meeting service times, autonomous in planning and prioritizing, and skilled at following recipes precisely. A passion for food and an appreciation for good quality, home-cooked meals for our Residents are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the procedures to follow if concerns arise. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional relevant training. You should also be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
