Quality Control Inspector - Permanent - Cumbernauld

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality team where you will perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to take accurate measurements
* Collect and analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality
* Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
* Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
* Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or non-conformities
* Follow established procedures and protocols for quality control processes
* Online label inspection for all PSL and Litho machines
* Following standard operating procedures for testing of labels
* Assisting within the department to ensure quality standards are maintained and developed to meet ongoing demands from customers
* Working with functional departments / personnel to maintain and improve quality and assist in identifying improvements
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar role preferred
* Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures
Please note, this role will involve a three shift rotation, working 36 hours per week.
