We are currently seeking a highly motivated Enhanced Staff Nurse (RNID) to join our team in Teach Saoirse, Children’s Residential House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Contract Type: Full & Part Time Permanent Posts Available
Salary Scale: €40,212 to €53,009 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum
Overview of the Post:
To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in North Tipperary. The residential support service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritize families to be involved in the service and agree on the type and level of support to be provided. The Nurse will be supervised by and work closely with the RRM/Service Coordinator. The role requires flexibility to work during evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will have:
* RNID qualification validated for working in Ireland
* Registration with the live Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI in the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division
AND
* Confirmation of annual registration with NMBI
* Maintenance of registration with NMBI during employment, with evidence provided annually
* Clinical and administrative capacity to perform the role
* Full clean driver’s license and willingness to drive service transport
* Basic IT skills
* ‘D1’ license an advantage or willingness to obtain one
* Experience working with adults or children with disabilities (desirable)
* Experience in residential/respite settings (advantage)
Desirable criteria may be considered in shortlisting if application volume is high.
